About me
Overview
I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship concerns, identity stress, and life transitions. Many of my clients are professionals, caregivers, and individuals who carry a great deal for others while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted themselves.
My approach is trauma-informed, integrative, and collaborative, drawing from CBT, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, mindfulness, and holistic perspectives. Together, we explore emotional and relational patterns, strengthen coping and nervous system regulation, improve communication, and support greater clarity, resilience, and connection.
As a Muslim Latina therapist, I offer culturally responsive and spiritually respectful care and am especially attentive to the experiences of people of color and those navigating cultural, faith-based, family, and intergenerational dynamics. I welcome clients who want therapy that honors the whole person—mind, body, culture, relationships, and spirit.
My goal is to provide a calm, supportive space where you feel seen and respected while moving at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you are healing from difficult experiences, navigating change, strengthening your relationship, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a space to reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and move forward with greater intention.
