At Empezando Contigo, we are dedicated to connecting and uplifting Latine mental health professionals. Our memberships offer unique opportunities for growth, learning, and collaboration within a supportive, culturally attuned environment. Whether you’re looking for community, professional development, or ways to expand your practice, we have space in our comunidad for you—and if you’ve been with us from the start, take advantage of our Familia Discount before it ends this year.

General Membership

The General Membership is open to Latine licensed mental health professionals across various disciplines. This membership tier is designed for those seeking community, resources, and professional support, while aligning with the mission of supporting Latine therapists.

Eligibility:

• Must be of Latine (Latino/Latinx) heritage.
• Hold an active independent or associate-level licensure in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, psychiatry, substance use counseling, etc.
• Licenses must be in good standing with the relevant licensing board.
• Associate clinicians are required to provide the name, credentials, and contact information for their licensing board-approved clinical supervisor.
• For professionals practicing outside the U.S., verification of licensing equivalence is required.

• Access to a private Facebook group for peer support and resource sharing.
• Downloadable clinical resources.
• Listing in our therapist directory (coming soon).
• Participation in monthly consultation and support groups.
• Monthly virtual networking events (open to all Latine mental health professionals and students).
• Frequent in-person networking events in Phoenix and Long Beach.

Familia Membership

The Familia Membership is a special tier for those who participated in our Networking con Corazón events between January 2020 and April 2024. As a way of honoring their early involvement and support, we offer a discounted rate on membership through the end of this year.

Please note that the Familia Discount is only available until December 31st, after which all members will transition to the General Membership rate.
