Membership Terms & Conditions
1. Membership Fees
Membership fees are set at $125 per year for general membership with temporary offers of $100 Familia discount to past networking attendees (until end of 2024) and $150 for founding members (until August 2024). Fees are due annually on the anniversary of your membership start date and will be the general membership fee of $125. Members will receive a reminder 14 days before the payment due date. Payment must be made in full to maintain active membership status. Please allow 72 hours for access to benefits.
2. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
– Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
– PayPal
Please ensure your payment information is accurate and up to date.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Members may cancel their membership at any time by contacting us at linda@empezandocontigo.org. Cancellations must be received 30 days before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the upcoming period.
Refunds will be issued under the following conditions:
– If cancellation occurs within 5 days of initial payment, a full refund will be granted upon request.
– No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after 6 days of payment for the current billing period.
4. Renewal Terms
Memberships are set to renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Members will be notified 14 days prior to the renewal date. If you do not wish to renew, please cancel your membership before the renewal date.
5. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal and payment information provided will be kept secure and used solely for the purposes of membership management.
6. Membership Benefits
As a member, you will receive the following benefits:
– Access to exclusive networking events and workshops
– Directory listing
– Opportunities for professional development and continuing education
– Resources and support specific to Latine mental health professionals
– Private Facebook group
Please note that benefits are subject to change, and any updates will be communicated to members promptly.
7. Code of Conduct
Members are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism. This includes:
– Treating all members and staff with respect
– Complying with ethical guidelines and standards in the mental health profession
– Participating in association activities in a constructive manner
Violation of these standards may result in membership termination.
8. Liability Limitation
The association is not liable for any damages or losses incurred through membership participation, including but not limited to, personal injury, loss of data, or any other unforeseen issues. Members agree to participate at their own risk.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions as necessary. Members will be notified of any changes 14 days in advance. Continued membership following such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
